Pretty average Marazion day. Tried a 9m first but snapped the mast immediately - how very unusual for me!!! Changed down to a 7.3 Hotsails GPS and it worked fairly well.
First run out for my new Manta 71! Really nice board it seems. Extremely stiff board that feels unlike anything I've used before but this seems to help it just push through the chop and assists the acceleration. Gets going really easily and sits on the water very well and doesn't feel skittish at all. Its a joy to jibe, either tight or lovely long drawn out arcs, and keeps planing with ease out of the jibe. I am in desperate need of a decent 38cm fin though as the one I was using was rubbish - Johnny, help me...........
